| Profile | PRACTICEDavid is a member of the family team and practices in all areas of family law.He advises and represents local authorities in matters relating to disclosure of social work files and public interest immunity. He also prosecutes matters under the Education Act 1996 on behalf of local authorities.
EXPERIENCE Following his call to the Bar, David undertook a variety of legal posts including research assistant, paralegal for a major UK insurance company and legal assistant in a local authority legal team. In 2001, David was admitted as a solicitor and spent the next five years at Bolton Council. As a local authority solicitor his role involved:
During this time David regularly appeared in the Family Proceedings Court and the County Court on behalf of the local authority.
