On 18 May Crime practitioners Neil Allen and Benjamin Myers gave a seminar at Manchester Law Society.
With the Administrative Court now established in Manchester, this timely seminar considered the impact of the Human Rights Act 1998 in judicial review proceedings. In particular, it outlined:
- The key articles of the European Convention;
- Recent jurisprudence illustrating how human rights have been applied in the Administrative Court;
- The practicalities of bringing a human rights related claim for judicial review.
