- Michael Blakey is Head of Chambers and is a member of the Criminal Team at Young Street Chambers. He both defends and prosecutes serious crime
- Experience:
- As a former member of Her Majesty's Armed Forces, Michael Blakey has experience in Court Martial. He appears at all levels from the Crown Court upwards and has prosecuted cases in which the defence has instructed Leading Counsel. Michael Blakey has previously been involved in cases prosecuted on behalf of the Federation Against Copyright Theft Ltd (F.A.C.T.).
He was appointed as a Recorder in 2003.
