- John Maxwell has an exclusively criminal practice and is a member of the Criminal Team.

- Mr. Maxwell has considerable experience but tends to defend more than prosecute.
He has particular experience in both the defending and cross examination of young
children in serious sexual cases, including defending a 14 year old on a count of raping
an 11 year old boy and numerous cases where the child is the alleged victim of adults.

In addition, Mr. Maxwell lectures solicitors in a variety of fields, including Money Laundering and Prison Law.
Mr Maxwell is a Deputy District Judge (Magistrates Courts).
