Practice:
David James practises in all aspects of criminal advocacy, both for the prosecution (Grade 3) and defence. He is a busy practitioner with instructions in cases crossing the spectrum of criminal offending. Regular instructions include allegations of homicide; serious sexual offences; large scale drug operations; fraud and money laundering. David James' practice is encompassing more frequent instructions in cases requiring Junior Counsel led by Queens Counsel.
Experience:
David James is Young Street Chambers' Treasurer and a member of Chambers Management Team.

He is a member of the Criminal Bar Association and was a Justices' Clerk before joining Young Street Chambers.
