- Bob Sastry is a member of the Criminal Team. He both defends and
prosecutes and his practice incorporates a wide range of work,
including:
- Murder
- HM Customs and Excise
- Cases of a grave sexual nature, including child victims
- Theft Acts cases
- Violence at all levels
- Experience:
- Bob Sastry has a busy Crown Court practice and he regularly appears
before the Court of Appeal (Criminal Division). He has been led on a number
of occasions.
Notable cases include Attorney-General's reference No.64 of 2003 [2004] 2 Cr.App.R.(S.) 22.
In addition to this he teaches Advocacy on the Bar Vocational Course at Manchester Metropolitan University.
