Three members of our family team, Andrea Markham, Lukhvinder Kaur and Sarah Kilvington, gave a seminar at the V&A Marriott on 1 June. Richard Dawson successfully defended a man charged with allegations of historic sexual misconduct, as against his half-sister. Unusually he was only 13 years old and she was only 7 years old during the period of time the allegations stemmed from. The jury found him not guilty of attempting to rape her and repeatedly indecently assaulting her.
