iain-simkin49x49Iain Simkin defended a schizophrenic client who had been accused of raping and sexually assaulting a young woman who suffers from Ataxic Cerebral Palsy.  The man was acquitted at Bolton Crown Court yesterday.

david-farley49x49David Farley defended Jermaine Bullen, who was jailed for 3 years after pleading guilty of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.  The case was heard at Bolton Crown Court.  Read more

iain-simkin49x49Iain Simkin recently prosecuted David Court.  Bolton Crown Court found Mr Court guilty of indecent assault and rape of a 10 year old girl.  He will be sentenced on 1 June.  Court pleaded guilty as he was about to take a lie detector test.  Read more

richard-dawson49x49Richard Dawson successfully defended a man charged with allegations of historic sexual misconduct, as against his half-sister.  Unusually he was only 13 years old and she was only 7 years old during the period of time the allegations stemmed from.  The jury found him not guilty of attempting to rape her and repeatedly indecently assaulting her.
